1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using LockNote - Lock Screen Note ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Description of Service
LockNote allows you to create notes and checklists that are displayed on your iPhone's Lock Screen via iOS Live Activities. The App provides:
- Text notes and interactive checklists
- Lock Screen display using Live Activities and Dynamic Island
- Built-in and custom templates
- Configurable timers and privacy mode
The App requires iOS Live Activities to function. Availability of this feature depends on your device model and iOS version.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
The App offers optional paid subscriptions ("LockNote Pro") that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are managed through Apple In-App Purchases.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
- Free trial periods, if offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends
5. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not have the ability to process refunds directly.

6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
- Attempt to bypass or circumvent any security features
- Use the App for any unlawful or prohibited purpose
- Distribute, sublicense, or transfer the App to third parties outside of the App Store
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, graphics, and other materials in the App are owned by or licensed to the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. User Content
Notes, checklists, and other content you create in the App remain your property. All user content is stored locally on your device. We do not access, collect, or claim any rights to your content.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We are not responsible for any issues arising from iOS updates, Live Activity limitations, or changes to Apple's platform that may affect the App's functionality.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the App
- Any changes to or removal of features from the App
- Loss of data stored within the App
- Any third-party actions or services
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your Apple ID settings.
12. Third-Party Services
The App may interact with Apple services (App Store, StoreKit, ActivityKit). Your use of these services is governed by Apple's terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
